Byte Piranhas turns your idle screen into a ruthless underwater ecosystem. Watch in satisfaction as old logs, cached thumbnails, and mysterious .tmp files you never asked for plummet through the water—only to be torn apart by a school of ravenous piranhas.

Each feeding frenzy isn't just satisfying to watch. It's actually cleaning your computer. That's right: every file devoured is a file deleted. It's nature. It's justice. It's disk space.

Set it. Forget it. Let the fish do what fish do best.

Screensaver Setup

Byte Piranhas is installed as a standard Windows Screensaver (.scr).

1. Open Windows Settings.
2. Navigate to Personalization > Lock screen > Screen saver settings.
3. Select Byte Piranhas from the dropdown list.
4. Click Settings... to configure the application.

Disclaimer

Byte Piranhas deletes files from your system's TEMP folder. These files are typically safe to remove, but we accept no responsibility if a piranha eats something you loved. No actual fish were harmed in the making of this software. No actual files were harmed either—wait, no, the files are definitely harmed. That's the whole point. Do not tap on glass. Do not feed piranhas after midnight. Side effects may include smugness, improved disk performance, and an unsettling affection for freshwater carnivores.
